Good job on this car. Excellent equipment level too. I question the non-folding rear seats on SE/XLE, can you get leather without moving up big time in price? (just checked, option on SE that's reasonable), and wish there was an SE V6 MT model, but 4 cyl's outsell V6's for just about every manufacturer that offers both.

The new model looks MUCH better than the old, especially the SE. Does everything better it seems. I like the way the interior looks for the most part (another huge improvement), and the backlighting, but find it average quality in person.

Still, nice car, nice value, much nicer styling.

I'm seeing quite a few already too.

I finally dropped by the local Toyota shop to have a look. I am quite impressed both with the interior and the exterior appearance. It's much to large for me to ever consider, but quite a handsome car IMO.

Great price, and you know its going to be reliable, but once again it's a flop in exterior design, and I would not even consider buying a car with such a cheap looking interior.  Like other Camry's, this car will only appeal to those who want to get from point A to point B reliably, and don't care about how.  Those that enjoy driving, being in their cars, and making them look good, they will be tired of this in less than a week.  My 5-year old son's Cosy Coupe must be built by Toyota as well.

but once again it's a flop in exterior design,

Doesn't seem too bad to me  :)

Looks decent in RED in that well staged and photo OP......but kinda bulbous overhang in the front...the review said it is not as wallowy but not really cinched down (to paraphrase)...so for $30 K ya get a reliable cheap looking interior with GREY MOUSEFUR AGAIN(Does Toyota breed them!!!!?) nice medium sized Mom&Pop _MOBILE.......ZzZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :-\

Nice looking car. Looks like a large Yaris 4 door sedan. 43 mpg. highway is good and will translate into 34.5 mpg. actual. approx. I would have thought the seat material should have looked at least as nice as the material used in other companies smaller car segment. From the report it seems like the 4 cylinder is the engine of choice; Toyota seem to have some smarts here. My usual complaints about useless tach. on automatic transmission IMO. Leave it off and make the speedo bigger with larger numbers. People with bi-focals drive these cars too, probably a larger proportion. The speedo is too close for the distance part of your specs. and too far for the reading part. Larger numbers help considerably.

The SE looks great, the LE and XLE's look good also. But that's just my opinion. No use arguing about something that's subjective.  ::)

Saffy, that is NOT mouse fur. I have it on the highest authority that they use only "hooded shrew pelts" that are gathered at night using specially trained northern pygmy owls. It's the hand stitching that costs so much.
