Extra Load Tires

My old tire is P205/65R15 92T. The new is P205/65R15 99H XL. How will this effect my car? And whats the deal with an extra load tire will it change my cars handling? The Kal-Tire said the regular P205/65R15 Nokian WR without XL was discontinued. Thanks

Will not hurt it. Just means the tire has more load carrying capacity. Benefit is stiffer sidewall and less flex, which means better stability at highway speeds.
