Manufacturer recommended torque setting for Winter Steel Rims
« on: October 24, 2005, 01:20:37 pm »
Just wondering if Winter Steel Rims should be torqued to the same settings as the Alloy.

Thanks

You need to know if the nuts have the same profile for the steel wheels as for the Alloys. There are two different profiles....its mentioned in a thread over the last month in this forum section

If the wheels either, came from the car dealer or from tiretrend ( who supply correct nuts you'll be ok.

Just use the factory specs for torque...
