Porsche’s posh sedan is a performance car for pragmatists.

Good review Jeff.  I freaking love this car and have from long before I became a legitimate old fart.  :)  If someone gave me my choice of anything on the Porsche lot, I'd probably pick this.  Sure, a 911 GT3 RS would be a blast on the Nurburgring.  But I don't drive there.

They styling changes from the 1st get to this took the car from awkward to slick. Such a dramatic change.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I even like the old Beluga styling - but no question the current version is much better looking.

These have great presence on the road. Sport Turismo GTS for me, please.

Agreed... Sport Turismo GTS is a sweet spot in the line-up.

Honestly, the car reviewed did almost nothing for me. For the cost of that thing, I could have the M550i I reviewed earlier this year -- which is a lot more fun and better equipped -- plus a winter beater or track car.  The Pants-o-rama 4 is just a nice, smooth cruiser.
