Any other automakers do it?You could get them through Porsche at one time IIRC...but usually through the local PCA. I had a 250k mile one on my 1986.Also popular with euro cars is emblems for "official" meets.I had a couple on my 1986 too. They look like this...usually metal and/or high quality.
^^I know when the first couple of Gen Prius came out, Toyota bought back several once they reached 500,000km/1,000000km to study how the car fared.

I once had a JDM Pioneer receiver that was over 25 y.o when I got it and you could never guess its age by the sound. It was all analog, even the radio dial. People buy things today and 5 years down the road there are bloated capacitors.

These mileages must be an achievement in some cars. Would not work for a Tacoma/Hilux pickup.
