2020 Mitsubishi Mirage (Facelift)

Still doesn't say anything. The front is a little better. some consumer reports say it's decent and reliable, others are saying not so much. It's just a matter of what Renault you want at the 10 grand price point. I would lean towards the Micra personally. We've yet to see the new Micra here. We've still got the old dated one.

I thought Mitsubishi was getting out of the passenger car business and becoming just a CUV company.

The current Mirage is cheap, simple, and fuel efficient.  But it’s also slow, dated, worst new vehicle sold currently, and not well equipped.

It is so dorky yet somehow I could see myself buying a 10 year old one in an interesting colour for cheap when the time comes.

You can pick up a 2 year old base for around $6,500 private. This is a Hubnut car.

Even better. Can't go wrong if it is all under warranty. Flog it for peanuts if, it turns out to be rubbish.  Renault must make the occasional decent one. It's funny how Renault, has manage to ruin too decent car companies.

This thing long pre-dates the tie-up with Renault.  Mitsu didn’t join until 2018.

I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

Umm yer your right. However the Mirage did slowly decline, 2014/2015 are the best years so far.
