That is true...while I might not pay much of anything by way of repairs, had I bought a 2011 Civic Si it would be worth about twice as much with as many km as my car is now, despite mine costing $10,000 more (new to new) than the Civic.  Shi#, a Civic LX is probably worth more by now... :P  I think my Sonic might even be worth more, and it's the equivalent of a metal garbage can with wheels.

My car is still better looking and nicer to drive though...I'm completely happy with it.   ;D

Sigh, my Smart gets two mentions on the avoid list, guess I should stop enjoying it.   ::)

My Smart Electric Drive itself has many flaws (low range, poor infotainment, rough ride), but fun to drive in the city ain't one of them.
