Topic: Is the Volvo V90 / XC V90 long for this world?

Was poking around after the V60 discussion and discovered Volvo is selling 10-20 V90s per month in the USA. Perhaps 2-3 per month in canada then? When do you figure Volvo pulls the pin on these two?

Volvo sell 35 90 series cars V90 and S90 per month in Canada. Having driven both, not much difference, if any, between the V60 and V90. The 90 is obviously bigger, but the rear hatch window is much more slanted, so interior room in the luggage area is close.

That many huh. Couldn't find recent sales stats from the US (goodcarbadcar) but it looked like just a handful. To me the V60 almost makes the V90 redundant, IMO it has better lines too.

Not surprised these are selling better than in the US. Station wagon are still quite popular up here. Dead down there.

IDK the XC90 has the same engine and it is doing ok. The $70k+ price tag can't help.

According to Motormouth in this video, he says the V90 and V90-CC is going away at the end of 2019.

The V90 is special order only in the U.S. but dealers can readily stock the V90 CC.
