Hyundai Elantra Sports 2016 Fuel Consumption
« on: February 13, 2019, 09:47:32 am »
Hello Guys,

I own Hyundai Elantra Sports 2016. It has 4-cylinder 1.8 L engine. I'm the second owener of the car. I use car for my personal use and as well as for UBER drive as a part time. It had run 72,000.

Recently i checked fuel consumption for my car and i got 9.25 to 9.5 km per L.  (which is too low i guess)

I regularly do service for my car. I checked on online reviews , it says hyundai elantra gives at least 13 km per L.

Anyone has idea what's wrong with my car?   ???

Generally we use  litres/100 km    not km per litre

I can't begin to relate to km / l.  But if the car is being used basically as a taxi, don't expect great fuel economy.

9.25 KM / L = 10.81 L / 100 KMs

I'd call that normal for winter city driving.
