I'm getting a used civic 2017 touring.
1) I'm bringing it into an independent mechanic. How do I request for a car inspection? Do I just tell them I want to do a car inspection to see if there's been any accidents and tune-ups before purchasing this car? Is there any specific inspection procedures that I need to ask for, such as the APA? (but the mechanic i'm seeing is not listed as one of the APA certified mechs)
2) Is oil dilution in the 1.5T engine an issue that should make me stay away from this car?
