Tire size recommendation

Hey guys, so i have a 2015 sonata and the oem tires and rims is 215-55-17 and i need to change them so i have some tires that are 225-45-17 that my brother gave me, do you think this size will be okay or they are to low profile?

If your current tires have good tread do no worry about age.

If you are in a winter climate then you should be getting winter tires.
