Barring the GT350, this is the Mustang I would want.

For one thing, you don't get that colour.

Could any other car get away with changing colours and tying itself to a movie, then charging a premium for it?
"We put a 53 on the side of the Beetle and now it's $6,000 more!"
It's just a green mustang....

To be fair, a Mustang GT equipped like a Bullitt is $59,325 vs $58,375 for a base Bullitt.

Man does that have a great exhaust note.  Not that the Camaro or Challenger make bad sounds.  It's sad that in the next decade we'll probably lose these naturally aspirated V8's.

As much as I like that color green I'm not a fan of that cross hair emblem on the back and I'd probably be perfectly fine spending about $10K less and just get a regular GT instead.

Like I've said previously somewhere on here... I think this one will be the more collectible one down the road. I think it's a great package & it looks awesome.

I agree - although the counterpoint would be why not just order a customized GT PP1 and you basically get the same car minus some of the cheezy branding.

I do love the clean look, though.

This would be my thinking.  I do dig the colour, but not at the cost of having to drive around an homage to a 50 yr old movie.

I think you can do a spoiler delete on the GT anyway?  Though maybe I've got that mistaken...

Yeah, you can.

You can also get the V8 delete on the GT.  :P

Really?  An original '68 Bullitt, absolutely.  This one, I can't see it.
I'd take a PP1 GT over this.

Yeah I can't picture there being any particular collectible value for this one.   The demographic that the Bullitt name might attract are already in the collectible age range (i.e. old).

There's a couple of 2001 Bullitts on AutoTrader for $15k, which is more than a typical GT of that era goes for.

Agreed.

If it's collectable it will be because it's a car from the end of the golden age - IE N/A V8, manual, etc. - not because it's a Bullitt.

Well Bullitts command more on the market than the regular SN95 Mustangs...so there is something to it anyways.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I absolutely love this Bullitt.  If I had a spare $60K, this would be one car that I'd collect right now.

I'll wait and buy a used one in about 10 years.
