I bought one of these the year before I got the pacer... I thought it was super cool... my one recollection of it was that I went to bring it in the shop and since I was taking it really easy, it wouldn't make it over the 1.5" lip to the garage... it sat there and revved... I had to back up and take a run at it!

fun little thing though. only had it for a couple months before someone gave me an offer that put a few bucks in my pocket.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

These are neat. Historically they seem to have high prices but perhaps they are coming down a bit as they seem to appeal to an older crowd who are generally giving up cars. They have B-series motor similar to the Austin A40 or MG B engine so should be hop performance parts that are usable.

My Mum had one of these, though I forget which year. My aunt somehow killed the engine so my grandfather put an engine out of a Triumph (TR3 IIRC) in it. Apparently it had more scoot at that point.

She eventually gave the car to my aunt, who sadly drove it into the ground.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.
