"to wit"

nice...makes me feel like I am reading a script for a conference paper...

I'm glad these early reviews are saying the G70 is more of a canyon carver than the Stinger.  Sounds like it's the better sports sedan and with the option of a 2.0T, RWD and manual it would be the one I would pick over the Stinger.

Sounds like a really nice ride. I am probably being really shallow here but I would have a hard time accepting that grill - looks like something off a low budget kit car. Sours an otherwise nice package.

Early reviews are very positive indeed.  This is definitely top of the list when it's time to replace my current ride.  In another couple years, kid out of high school and in all likelihood driving her own car.  Car pooling days behind me.  Won't need as big of a car.  Could happily replace the Genesis with this.  But the real debate will be whether to keep the Genesis for the winters and drive something totally irresponsible the rest of the time.  That's pretty much the only option that I see keeping me out of a G70.

And they do have a coupe in the works....

Saw one today at the rink with the 3.3L engine. Looks so good. I wonder if Kelowna Hyundai was able to snag one since Kelowna doesn’t have a Genesis dealer officially.

They do, actually. We just added them as an authorized distributor.

I swore I wouldn't be looking at sedans for my next car.  This however has me interested.

I'd just love to know what kind of effect the lighter weight versus the Stinger GT has on fuel consumption.  As it stands the Stinger is a thirsty bugger due to its weight versus and from what I see gobbles down about as much as the previous Audi S5 V8.

According to Fueleconomy.gov

G70 (V6 AWD)
13.1 / 9.4

Stinger (V6 AWD)
12.4 / 9.4

S5 Sportback
11.2 / 7.8

Based on the G70's supposed weight reduction versus the Stinger, I wonder how that happened......

I really, really like the looks of this.  Even more than the Alfa....and this thing should actually get you to work everyday.  I'd take a long look at this if I wasn't shuffling kids and their oversize gear around.

It also looks like the lease rates are between 1-2% lower than the Stinger.  THAT'S an interesting little tidbit.

Excellent! It truly is amazing that this region of less than 200,000 can support Porsche and Land Rover dealerships but it is a busy hub in the BC Interior and there are a lot of affluent people in the region. With all the other affordable luxury names in town, it made sense for Genesis to be in the game.

Found this news article, wow 45 days ago.  I think you guys need to advertise that you’re in town.

I know these are overly busy times, but finding out locations by accident is not how it should be.

The Genesis web site needs many improvements, has to be kept up to date, have more specification details (everything that a place like kbb.com has for other vehicles - eg: trunk space size, headroom/shoulder room/leg room), more full exterior and interior 360's showing every colour combo for every trim level (that has unique limitations, this because its more online selling than other manufacturers).

But most of all, the web site has to show up to date locations. Currently there are none at all, at least none that I can find. I tried finding the 'usual' search that exists at all other manufacturer or business sites but there is none.

And by locations I mean (a) sales/viewing/distributor, and explanations of what each means/what it has at that location, AND (b) service points. "B" is critical for buying decisions, ie; where will it be possible to service my car if I want to take it there myself or am actually on a trip and need help.
