fantastic engine, I prefer the styling of the old R8 but that is just me (especially considering the fake blacked off intake area which is a major faux pas).
Closest to the LMS R8 you can get on the road, so you can pretend you are in WEC blasting along the back roads. That is cool.
but...for the street it needs a manual to maximize the sports car experience. Old school drive wheels, old school big n/a engine, it needs an old school gearbox. It needs a manual.
Agreed. The little snickety-snick of working that shifter through the metal gate of the old car was one of the best attributes.
