What more is there to say, but “Wheeeeeeee!” again? The Fiesta ST is absolutely a blast to drive to the grocery store or perhaps to an auto-x or track day. I can only imagine how fun it would be at an auto-x actually… hmmmm, nah I better not.
You know with these small cars you also seem to manage to get excellent fuel economy with your fun and horsepower – perhaps not amazing fuel economy but I averaged 7.8 L/100 km over the week and for the performance and amount of times I nailed that throttle pedal I gotta say that was good enough for me.
Unlike some other sporty small cars, road noise and wind noise are not really an issue so long drives are not tiresome or annoying and the Fiesta ST comes with a good amount of options as well. Now is it worth the price of admission? Well at my tester’s price I feel it’s a little on the high side and that price opens up a lot of options on the market.
At the base price, though, the ST offers a great deal of fun for the money — that is if you can live without a moonroof and navigation, and in this type of car I could.
