The interior of the Fiesta ST isn’t anything super exciting as this is a subcompact car that is fairly basic, but there are a few details that certainly stand out.
Most of the surfaces in the ST are hard plastics – despite the high price not much has changed here from the base model – but the steering wheel is leather-wrapped and feels really great in the hands, as well as the shifter — the centre-console armrest does have some nice padding for your elbow as well.

The biggest change to the interior for the ST has to be the Recaro seats with ST and Recaro stitched into the seats. Not only do these seats look good but they offer a ton of lateral support and have quite a deep seating area to ensure that you do not slide out in hard driving.
Comfort is subjective, but for me these seats are very comfortable even if they are very hard to adjust – the reclining function is difficult to reach and difficult to adjust. Some may find these seats far too tight, and getting in and out constantly can be a little annoying because you have to fall into them – the price you pay for support!
You also have to remember that this is a four-door hot hatch, which makes it very convenient as well. Although the rear seats aren’t really that great, don’t forget this is a small car. The hatchback design also provides utility, I picked up three bags of cedar mulch today and the trunk swallowed them with no issue and closed right up — but this isn’t the largest hatch in the world, either — again the ST is a small car which is, after all, part of the appeal.
