I also tried out the GloveBox Road Trip organizer. This is a similarly handy and versatile bit of in-car organization that buckles into your front seat. Usually my dog, Schmoogles, and a few boxes of tarts fit on my front seat, but Schmoogles was happy to sit in the back for the test. She’s such a cutie!
The Road Trip Organizer has handy elastic pockets on the outside, perfect for my spatulas, partially-chewed rawhides, wooden spoons, slobbery puppy toys, whisks, and poop bags. Unused of course, because, eww! There’s also a slip-out waterproof cooler and cupholder assembly to keep your cookies and dog chow chilled for the ride, though if you’re not packing foodstuffs, it zips out to make a handy bin for at-hand items, like your phone, wallet, glasses, parking passes and the like. The hard lid segment doubles as a work-space for a notebook or tablet, too.
Other organizer items are available as part of the GloveBox line, including a clever organizer that hangs on the back of a front seat, and an organizer for your sun visor.
Whether you’re baking cakes and breeding puppies, or using your car simultaneously as a family soccer hauler, mobile office and personal retreat, a little extra help keeping organized can enhance comfort and convenience on the move. The GloveBox Automotive Organization Assortment is available at Canadian Tire, with products starting at $20.
