Merchant Law Group launches another automotive class action
If you own one of the approximately 400,000 vehicles in Canada with Takata airbags, Merchant Law Group would like to represent you in their latest automotive class action suit.
The class action being brought forward by the law firm “seeks compensation for affected vehicle owners or lessees due to the safety defect,” says the press release from the firm. A long and comprehensive list of vehicles equipped with Takata Corporation airbags were also included in the release (and can be viewed below).
While most of the brands listed are Japanese, some domestic and European brands are named as well.
Merchant Law Group has been involved in other class actions in Canada involving the automotive industry, such as 15-passenger Ford vans, the General Motors ignition switch fiasco, and unintended acceleration claims from Toyota vehicle owners.
