What could it be?

According to Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, the Silicon Valley-based electric vehicle company will reveal “the D and something else” on October 9.

Tesla is widely expected to announce their “budget” electric vehicle soon. It was supposed to be called Model E before Ford squashed the moniker and Tesla decided to call it the Model 3 instead.

However, a new “Model D” is something completely new. Some outlets speculate it could be a new SUV/crossover smaller than the soon-to-arrive Model X.

As far as the “something else” mentioned in Musk’s tweet, we are completely lost for ideas.

We’ll let you know what’s unveiled next week.

What do you think it could be?
