New Lexus coupe will be brand’s flagship model
As part of Lexus’ plan to introduce a new car every year until 2020, Toyota’s luxury brand will launch the LF-LC as a new flagship model in 2016.
Introduced at the 2012 Detroit International Auto Show, the concept and production versions are said to be “90 to 100 percent” identical, reports AutoCar.
The production version is also expected to take the LC monkier and is rumoured to be built off the same platform as the Lexus LS executive sedan.
No engines have been mentioned, but if you guess it will receive the same 450 hp 5.0-litre V8 as the Lexus IS F, you probably wouldn’t be stretching far.
