It’s just like a normal Cooper, but longer
MINI has dropped details on their newest model – the MINI 5 Door – and it’s exactly the same as a 3 Door MINI, just longer and with two extra, very small doors.
Revealed by surprise last night, the MINI 5 Door will come to Canada in Cooper and Cooper S trims, powered by 1.5-litre three-cylinder and 2.0-litre four-cylinder engines respectively. Those engines develop 134 hp and 189 hp.
In addition to the longer body, the 5 Door receives two, quite small, rear passenger doors but identical styling to the 3 Door model.
An anticipated JCW model has not yet been announced. Full pricing and details will be available closer to launch.
