Concept will be officially revealed tomorrow in Geneva

Mazda’s new Geneva-bound concept gives us a trifecta of leaks today after earlier dribbles of Jeep’s new Renegade and the Audi TT. Due to be officially revealed tomorrow, the Hazumi concept is what we should expect the new Mazda2 to look like, minus some of the glitzy bits.

In a previous release, Mazda stated the concept would be equipped with a 1.5-litre SkyActiv-D four-cylinder diesel engine. However, once it reaches our shores in the form of the next Mazda2, a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G four-cylinder gasoline engine is more likely.

Interestingly, we ran a story last year about the Mazda2 becoming less aggressive in its next generation in an effort to round up more female Chinese buyers. As you can see in the photos, this no longer seems to be the case.

More information will be available after the official reveal tomorrow.
