New RS model brings more to the Juke NISMO

With customers gobbling up Juke and Juke NISMO models and clamouring for more, Nissan has answered the call with the new Juke NISMO RS.

Upgrades start under the hood with increased power and torque. Using the same 1.6L turbocharged engine from the Juke and Juke NISMO, output is cranked up to 215 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque (up from 188 hp and 177 lb-ft in the base Juke). And if that wasn’t enough, Nissan has made 1st through 3rd gears shorter for quicker sprints off the line. A standard limited-slip differential is also included.

Exterior appointments are similar to the Juke NISMO but with unique badging to advertise the power bump. However, Recaro seats and Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel are made standard on the new RS model.

The Juke NISMO RS will be available in early 2014. Pricing will be available closer to launch.
