Acura unveils 2002 3.2TL and 3.5RL

Acura unveiled the 2002 3.2TL and 3.5RL at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Friday. Both models will go on sale in Canada later in 2001.

The 3.2TL, winner of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC)'s "Best New Car of The Year" award in 1999, is redesigned for 2002. Acura is also adding a high-performance 3.2TL Type S model with a class-leading 260 horsepower engine. Boasting a more aggressive look, the TL model range will continue to provide outstanding value, luxury and performance.

Acura's 3.5RL has been revamped for 2002 with more power and a performance-tuned suspension. The 2002 3.5RL now boasts 225 horsepower with 231 lbs.-ft of torque. Wider tires, 16" wheels and a re-tuned steering system deliver precise handling.
