Revealed in Montreal, Mitsubishi will gauge public interest in the Thai-built sedan before making decision on importing
Mitsubishi Canada brought another new model to Montreal this year as the Japanese company contemplates bringing another subcompact car to Canada.
The Thai-built Mirage G4 Sedan features slightly different styling than the Mirage hatchback currently on sale in Canada, with different headlights and a more upscale grille treatment.
But, before a decision is made on whether or not to bring the model to Canada, Mitsubishi plans to gauge public interest throughout the Canadian auto show season. Debuting in Montreal, the G4 Sedan will also be on display in Toronto, Vancouver, and elsewhere.
Both the Mirage and G4 Sedan are powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine producing 74 hp mated to either a five-speed manual or continuously variable transmission.
