With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to a visceral, analogue supercar era with one last drive of an Audi R8 equipped with a manual transmission.

This is still one of the best looking super cars out there.  It'll definitely be a future collector.  I wonder how reliable this is compared to the Lambo sister.

Its amazing how little this car does for me in from a looks aspect, both in and out, I'm sorry, I find it boring as hell. For my supercar monies, I will take the SL65, 911 Turbo cab or used Gallardo. I've never understood the attraction to the R8.
Lighten up Francis.....

Well just goes to show you that not every design is universally loved.  That being said, 2 out of those 3 you listed aren't generally considered beautiful looking supercars.

A mega-douche next door had a while R8 V10 coupe.   That a--hole's ignorance and rudness was so bad that it ruined my love for the R8.

Rant over.. I agree on the somewhat boring look inside and out for a supercar over $200K, but it's a nice and 'stealthy' kind of supercar compared to its Lambo cousin.

yep a supercar I would buy, mainly because of the manual.

dont care if it is slower or less efficient, manual all the way in a car like this.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

I once loved the look of this car, but I saw an AMG GT the other day and OMG OMG - wowowowowowow.  Now I like the Audi, but it's slipped down the lost a little.

It's always interesting reading comments from everyone on here regarding various vehicles and their preferences.   Personally, I find the R8 to be pretty damn stunning to look at.  We have a few here that I see often and I drool every time I see one.  On the other hand, an AMG anything doesn't do a darn thing for me.  It's great that there are so many choices that we have today, no matter which snack bracket that  you're purchasing in.

Haha, nope.   ;D     MB as a brand has absolutely zero vehicles that I'd ever be interested in.....regardless of price point.  Just one of those brands. and BMW is another one, that I have no inspiration of owning one.  Audi, on the other hand, yep!!!!!

I really like the R8. There are a couple around town. I can't help but gawp at them.
