I think this is a GORGEOUS car, and I love that it's light - really light!  It's tiny and uncompromising - awesome!!

But, it's Italian.  I'd be terrified of it.

I thought the Golf R comes with either manual 6spd or expensive to repair after warranty DST?

Saw one in white on Steeles Ave today, between Dufferin and Bathurst Street, at around 8:45am.  Looks much bigger in person than in photos.

This car is just awesome.  And the fact you can get it with a Ti Akra' is just the dogs.  I would have one in a heartbeat, although compared to a Lotus I think it's a tad overpriced.  The optioned up one that Jeff and I saw in Edmonton was over $100K.

North Americans look at this and think small, unreliable, 4 pot.  I look at it and see automotive passion, carbon fibre, and that amazing Alfa sound.  Horses for courses.

If I was shopping for a roadster in this price bracket, this would be it.

it is neat and unique, but i think i'd take a Jag F-Type coupe instead...likely somewhat similar money, there's a local dealer and Jag has really improved its reliability ratings as of late (new ownership with $$$).
