The 2016 Terrain lineup features new front and rear fascias, new grille designs, a power dome hood, light-emitting diode (LED) daytime running lamps and additional updates.
...da fuk did I just read?

Is this suggesting that the hood will have a bloody motor to open it (like a power liftgate, but for the hood)???

Hey, we have a heavy behemoth here...how can we make it heavier for no apparent reason?!?!

A power dome is just a bulge in the hood. Usually to clear engine components, but in this case, just for styling.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Ah.

Yes, "power" dome.  So accuracy.  Much wow.

In some angles it looks very Azteky....not good. The V6 and Denali versions though are quite attractive to me.
Lighten up Francis.....

As far as I can tell (info on weight is VERY hard to find for V6) the V6 AWD weighs about 4,300 lbs. - about the same as a full-size 4WD F150!! Probably not information the consumer will be told in the showrooms.

some comparison shots here 2016 vs the 2015

Yeah, just because the images are sharper in the 'newer' model does not make it contemporary.  It looks sooo similar to me that I simply don't see much done.

...except the POWER hood!
