the new M3/M4 have EXACTLY the same number of ///M logos as my car inside the cabin and periphery of the car.

Just throwing out the reason for it:
BMW lost a legal application against Nissan for the Infiniti use of M as a Trademark on the basis that BMW did not prove that it "used" the "M" moniker sufficiently.  So, BMW is now ensuring that the "M" is being "used".

Just throwing out the reason for it:

in the visible part of the car, the current cars have exactly the same number of M moniker as my car.  and my car precedes any conflict with Infiniti, i think.
