Whats wrong with the SRT-8?? Its a fast, comfortable, luxurious and spacious SUV with a great horking V8....sounds awesome to me.

The C 63 and and C 63 S will be offered at the dealer with 476 hp and 510 hp respectively. Engines will be wedged into sedan and wagon bodystyles and offered solely with rear-wheel drive and AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sport suspension

All that power in a lil' car...it's going to be even less sorted than the C63 that preceded it.  AWD would be better, and would help it sell better in northern US states and Canada.  Hell, the E63 is only AWD, so why would they not even offer it on the C?

and boo to Mark for this ;):

Me thinks you're missing a few words someone in there  :popo:

I still REALLY hate the new interior of the C-class.  It's too spartan, the iPad dash has a huge bezel on it, and I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on with the shifter/MMI control...

I also still hold that the taillights are droopy.

....THAT WAGON, THOUGH!!  HOLY CRAP DOES IT LOOK SWEET!

Thanks for keeping me honest, NoTo. All fixed!

Also, the sedan now looks too much like a CLA. The curved beltline does it no favours.

AWD might not be possible due to packaging.  I think it would be nice if they did have AWD as an option.  Some guys want the RWD setup.

Only problem with the RWD setup is I'm not sure how they plan on putting that power down without the T/C light blinking.

Was driving behind a new C Class sedan the other day. Man, is the rear end of that thing really tall or what. I really like the front end of the car, but I'd have to get a wagon just to alleviate the tall rear issue.

Oh I don't dispute that RWD should be available - but so, too, should AWD.  Though the engine is a behemoth, I still bet there's room for AWD hardware.

F*** AWD. Glad to see at least one AMG sedan/wagon that is sticking with RWD.

A close friend of mine has a C63 - bought back when MB was selling them for $60K! - and he loves it being RWD, most of the time.  While he drives his Ridgeline most of the winter, the C is equipped with snows and he does take it out.  That is the time he laments the RWD, as he says...

"Watching guys in their WRXs blowing my doors off gets tiring..."
